Vision
Allelu! is a brand-new, early childhood program with innovations that make it easy to engage every child and build his/her faith! Created by expert catechists and a child psychologist, Allelu! delivers a unique, multisensory experience that is manageable for any catechist—without extensive facility requirements or expensive training sessions.
Within this framework, the goals of Allelu! are to:
- Teach young children about our Catholic faith.
- Familiarize children with the Catholic sacraments, liturgical rituals, symbols, and seasons.
- Help form children’s moral lives, standards and values.
- Teach children how to pray.
- Give children the words and tools they need to talk about God.
Allelu! is Christ-Centered
It nurtures young children’s natural tendency to seek a relationship with God, reinforcing a strong sense of community and love. Developed by Catholic educators and DREs, lessons are theologically sound, age appropriate, and classroom-tested.
Allelu! is Child-Focused
It is based on four core beliefs about children’s unique faith journeys that put young children at the center of the program:
- Young children naturally seek a relationship with God.
- Young children live in a community that includes their immediate and extended families, neighborhood, school, and parish.
- Young children think and learn differently than older children and adults.
- Young children need freedom and independence within structure.

It is designed for easy use in the parish setting or school by either volunteers or professional teachers. With multiple lesson options and a choice of activities that fit any budget, time schedule, and space, Allelu! never loses sight of how preschool children learn best.

Allelu! Emphasizes Parent/Family Involvement
It is anchored with Child/Family Activity Sheets that are simply and easily connected to real life. Activity Sheets provide engaging and understandable prayers, activities, and saint stories, as well as brief, teachable insights for the entire family. Cleverly designed like placemats for the dinner table, Allelu! Activity Sheets meet busy parents and families at the perfect moment, reinforcing positive family rituals such as eating meals together and talking to each other.
Allelu! Offers Comprehensive Catechist Support
