Words and Music by Chet A. Chambers

God Our Father
I want to know more and I want
to explore your Word and see what’s there to see
for me!
It’s all so exciting!
I want to learn, and live and love
Father, Son, and Spirit speak to me
The Lord cries out

Refrain
Let the children come to me
Let the children come to me
Jesus shows God’s love for all the world to see
He’s calling children everywhere
To love his Church, sing songs of praise
Can you hear Jesus calling, Let the children come
We come to learn (to learn)
To live (to live)
To love (to love)
To praise you Lord
Alleluia, Alleluia, sing Allelu, Allelu, Alleluia!
Alleluia, Alleluia, sing Allelu, Allelu, Alleluia!
Lord here I come!

Your Church is my family
Prayer opens doors, Faith is the key
Your Holy Word has set me free
Thank you for calling me
Refrain

We’ve learned so much and we’ve had some fun
Time passed so quickly, now our time is done
The things that we have learned are just the start
Of a lifetime serving in the Church
with Jesus in your heart

Refrain Take the Good News of the Lord with you
Take the Good News of the Lord with you
Share the love of God today
Spread some kindness along the way
Take the Good News of the Lord with you

Anna and Simeon holding the baby
Jesus, the Light of the World
They knew that their arms held the promised Messiah
Jesus, the Light of the World

Jesus the Light of the World
He is waiting for you to hold on to Him too
More than a baby and more than a man
Jesus, the Light of the World

Words and Music by Chet A. Chambers

5000 people came to hear Jesus teach
All but one forgot to bring their lunch
A little boy had 5 loaves of bread and 2 small fish
Jesus made a miracle and fed the whole bunch!
With 5 loaves and 2 fish
It wasn't much but look what Jesus did
5 loaves, 2 fish, 5000 people were fed
Big things can happen through the faith of a little kid

Those who love and care for you
Who is in your Heavenly family?

surrounding us with love

God uses many colors as the seasons go by
The green of Spring, the white of Winter
Fall's painted leaves fly high

Our church uses colors too
A rainbow reminding me and you
of seasons and days of celebration
that decorate the year.

It's a Circle of Colors
painting the church year
with reminders of the love God has for you

The white and golds of Christmas and Easter
Pretty purples at Advent and Lent
Red at Pentecost and to honor the Holy Spirit
Ordinary Times alive with greens
Each color chosen for a special reason
A Circle of Colors through the seasons.

What kind of face do your feelings make when you feel sad? Make that face!
What kind of face do your feelings make when you feel happy? Make that face!
Did Jesus ever feel that same feeling? (Oh yeah!)
It's okay when you feel that way
But how you treat others is revealing
Your true heart shows by what you do and say

Take your sad feelings (sad feelings)
To God in prayer (to God in prayer) and He will meet you there!
To feel it with you - He is there with you
He'll help you through 'cause Jesus has feelings too.

What kind of face do your feelings make when you feel scared? Make that face!
What kind of face do your feelings make when you feel happy? Make that face!
Did Jesus ever feel that same feeling? (Oh yeah!)
It's okay when you feel that way
But how you treat others is revealing
Your true heart shows by what you do and say
Take your scared feelings (scared feelings)
To God in prayer (to God in prayer) and He will meet you there!
To feel it with you - He is there with you
He'll help you through 'cause Jesus has feelings too.
What kind of face do your feelings make when you feel angry? Make that face!
What kind of face do your feelings make when you feel happy? Make that face!
Did Jesus ever feel that same feeling? (Oh yeah!)
It's okay when you feel that way
But how you treat others is revealing
Your true heart shows by what you do and say
Take your angry feelings (angry feelings)
To God in prayer (to God in prayer) and He will meet you there!
To feel it with you - He is there with you
He'll help you through 'cause Jesus has feelings too.

Jesus help us to obey our moms and dads
Their rules help us know what's good and what is bad
If we listen close to what they say
And honor them each night and day
God promises that blessings come our way

It's good to obey
Our parents everyday
Cause their rules keep us healthy, safe
and show us how to get along
And when we obey
We choose the better way
Cause God's Word teaches us how to obey

Share the Good News of the Lord and sing
Shout it out and make the church bells ring
Show the people on Earth today
Jesus' love is a better way

You gotta be good to your neighbor
Good to your friends
Good to your family
You gotta love one another
Like a sister or a brother
'cause Jesus loves you and me

The choices we make are like the ripples in a pond
Just a little splash but the waves go on and on
Ch-ch choices - be wise with the choices you make
Ch-ch-choices - God will show the path you should take

Bad choice make our lives a lot harder
But forgiveness is there when we take it to the Father
Ch-choices - saying sorry is the right thing to do
Ch-ch-choices - treating others like you want them to treat you

Ch-ch-choices, Ch-ch-choices
Choose the way you know is good and true
Ch-ch-choices, Ch-ch-choices
Ask yourself, "What would Jesus do"
Ch-ch-choices, make the right choices
The secret girls and boys is
Ch-ch-choices, make the right choices

Getting along with others each day
can be a hard thing to do
You know what is right, so talk it out
when others are mean to you
I wanna be a peacemaker
And learn to forgive like Jesus
I wanna be a peacemaker
Loving others as God loves me
Jesus help me make peace

The Angel told Mary "Do not be afraid,
God has promised something special to you!
You will be the mother of Jesus the Savior"
And Mary said, "Lord, I trust you"

God keeps His promises
God keeps His promises
God keeps His promises to us
God keeps His promises
God keeps His promises
Every word He says you can trust!

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus lay down His sweet head
The stars in the sky look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay
Be near me Lord Jesus I ask Thee to stay
close by me forever and love me I pray
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And take us to Heaven to live with Thee there.
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.

Glory to God in the highest!
Glory to God in the highest!
And on Earth, peace to people of good will.

And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains

Lord of all we bow before Thee
All on earth Thy scepter claim
All in Heaven above adore Thee
Infinite Thy vast domain
Everlasting is Thy reign

Holy Father, Holy Son
Holy Spirit, Three we name Thee
While in essence only One
Undivided God we claim Thee
And adoring bend the knee
While we own the mystery

I was glad when they said, "Let us go to the house of the Lord!"
I was glad when they said, "Let us go to the house of the Lord!"
Let us sing and pray
Talk with God each day
I was glad when they said, "Let us go to the house of the Lord!"
